Juventus vs Monaco 10/5/2017

May 9, 2017 1:09 pm

No side has ever overturned a two-goal first leg loss in the semi-finals of this competition. That is the task facing the swashbuckling Monaco side. Not just that. The French principality side also need to win in Italy for the first time. They lost six and drew once in their last seven trips there. For Juventus, it certainly looks like they can book their accommodation in Cardiff. The Bianconeri are 2-0 up after the first leg, and have a perfect winning record against French sides in two-legged ties. On the domestic front, Gonzalo Higuain shone for Juventus again on Saturday, scoring an injury-time equaliser against city rivals Torino to preserve an unblemished league home record. Monaco won 3-0 at Nancy to consolidate their grip on top spot in the French League.
