Roma vs Torino 10/03/18

10 March 2018

After a disappointing 2-0 defeat to AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico, Roma have quickly returned to the right path, beating the Serie A leader Napoli by four goals to two, and they are set to host the struggling Torino in a great atmosphere. The Giallorossi are looking to extend their lead over Inter, Lazio, and Milan, and anchor their Champions League place although their recent home record is far from convincing, with three losses in the previous five games. The Maroons have started the championship off on the wrong foot but managed to improve their game drastically over the course of the season. Notwithstanding Torino are not winning on a regular basis, they proved to be tough opponents with a very stubborn defensive line.

The prosperous youngster, Lyanco and Kevin Bonifazi, are sidelined due to injuries. The same goes for Cristian Molinaro, who has a fractured fibula, while Mbaye Niang could return to action after suffering a nasal contusion.
Rick Karsdorp and Luca Pellegrini are dealing with knee injuries. Federico Fazio and Edin Dzeko have picked up yellow cards last weekend against Napoli and won’t be available, but Daniele De Rossi may be fit after sustaining a knock in the same match.
