Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad

Real Madrid and Real Sociedad are set to face off against each other in a mammoth top-four La Liga six-point at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have suffered just one defeat across their 36 previous home league outings (W25, D10) and are one of only two La Liga sides yet to lose at home this term (W5, D2).

On the other hand, ten-man Real Sociedad fell to a narrow 1-0 loss to Barcelona in midweek Copa del Rey action, but their recent La Liga form tells a more convincing story. Despite dealing with a growing injury list, Imanol Alguacil’s men have won five consecutive league fixtures in the lead-up to this trip and could make it six triumphs in a row for the first time since November 2020. On top of that, ‘La Real’ have recorded an impressive 21 points on their nine La Liga travels in 2022/23 (W7, L2), winning their last three away league matches by an aggregate score of 6-1. But they’ve been victorious in only one of their 15 previous top-flight visits to Real Madrid (D2, L12).
