The two sides that drew their respective YBC Levain Cup matches during the midweek go head-to-head at Sapporo Dome as Consadole Sapporo take on Kawasaki Frontale.

The hosts have gone from six consecutive league matches without a loss (W3, D3) to back-to-back defeats, both of which saw them trail at half-time and concede precisely three at full-time. Sapporo Dome has been a venue of entertainment this season, as all three of Sapporo’s home J1 League fixtures have seen both teams score, with two producing over 3.5 goals. Furthermore, both of their previous league home outings have featured over 2.5 first-half goals with both sides hitting the net. However, the ‘Consa’ now face a formidable challenge of a Kawasaki side whom they’ve failed to beat in all five of their top-flight H2Hs held at this venue (D1, L4).

Meanwhile, the visitors have been a force to be reckoned with this campaign, winning all seven of their J1 League matches following a goalless home draw with Sagan Tosu on the opening matchday.
