Rocked by a disappointing Europa League elimination to Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan enter Derby della Madonnina looking to stretch a four-game unbeaten run against AC Milan at the Stadio San Siro (W2, D2).
The ‘hosts’ enjoy a purple patch in 2019 having won six of eight Serie A outings (W6, D2), which has seen them leapfrog arch-rivals Inter. Far more comfortable at home, 71.43% of their total SA losses have arrived away from home although that won’t matter much here. Interestingly, all three of Inter’s previous road triumphs across all competitions have ended with the same 1-0 scoreline in their favor, while the Nerazzurri last picked up all three points without a clean sheet in October 2018. The absence of real idea in attack and a stubborn defending have resulted in three of Inter’s previous fixtures producing under 2.5 goals.
