Arsenal vs Bournemouth 9/9/2017
Arsenal will be looking to avoid losing three EPL matches in a row. That unwanted streak last happened in January 2012. What is considered a mini crisis at the London club could well develop into a full blown one should they lose to the struggling Bournemouth, who have lost all their games. All three previous meetings at The Emirates have ended in a victory for the home team, the most recent a 3-1 win last November. Alexis Sanchez started in the 4-0 drubbing at Anfield, while Alexandre Lacazette was forced to watch from the sidelines. Perhaps Arsene Wenger might consider starting them together. Bournemouth’s Jermain Defoe will relish playing against the Gunners, having scored against them for three different clubs (West Ham, Tottenham and Sunderland).
