Arsenal vs Liverpool 23/12/2017
Liverpool are the first side in English top-flight history to win four straight away matches by a three-goal margin or more. Next up for them is a trip to The Emirates, where they won 4-3 on the opening day of last season.
The Reds seem to have the passcode to crack the Arsenal defence, having scored at least three goals in each of their past four EPL meetings.
For Sadio Mane, who is suffering from some uninspiring form right now, the Senegalese can become only the fifth player to score in four straight EPL appearances against Arsenal!
Petr Cech will hope that won’t materialize as the Czech custodian is aiming to become the first goalkeeper in EPL history to reach 200 clean sheets!
Arsenal took a closer step towards the Carabao League Cup final with a 1-0 win over West Ham, but they will be without Olivier Giroud, who injured himself in that close victory. Arsene Wenger is also hoping that Francis Coquelin will shake off a knock and Shkodran Mustafi can return from a hamstring problem.
But there’s no go for Liverpool’s rampaging full-back Alberto Moreno. The Spaniard is still bothered by an injury, as is defender Joel Matip and Daniel Sturridge. But Adam Lallana is back to full fitness and will be eager to kickstart his season.
