Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur 18/04/18
After last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at home, Tottenham Hotspur will be traveling to Brighton to face Brighton & Hove Albion looking for a victory that will guarantee them fourth place and the Champions League appearance for the next season. The Spurs have been in a great form, as they’ve won six Premier League games in a row before losing to the Citizens, and they’ve also won four out of their previous five away matches, including a stunning 3-1 victory over Chelsea. The Seagulls, on the other hand, have lost three out of last four games in the league, as only last weekend Crystal Palace beaten them by three goals to two, but a positive result against Mauricio Pochettino’s side could see them remaining in the English top flight for another year, which was their principal intention at the beginning of the season. Two sides faced each other in December at the Wembley Stadium in a game easily won by Tottenham by two goals to nil.
Brighton manager, Chris Hughton, won’t have the injured Steve Sidwell at his disposal, while Davy Pröpper has to skip the encounter after picking up a red card against Huddersfield. As for the visitors, Harry Winks and Kyle Walker-Peters are ruled out with injuries, while Danny Rose might be fit following some minor ankle problems.
