Burnley vs Arsenal 25/11/2017
As strange as it is to say this, it’s seventh versus sixth. For Burnley, they could end the weekend by infiltrating the top-four zone with a win and other results go their way.
One warning to the Clarets though.
Arsenal won both Premier League matches against them last season thanks to 90th-minute goals; only the second occasion of a team doing so home and away against the same opponent in the competition.
Burnley are aiming to have their best ever points tally, 40 last season, and are on target to overhaul that. They currently have 22 points from their 12 EPL matches this term.
Arsenal bossed Tottenham in the north London derby last Saturday, but that was quickly overshadowed by a 1-0 defeat in Cologne in the Europa League. Still, the Gunners have qualified for the knockout stage.
Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez has scored four goals in his five meetings with Burnley in all competitions, though is yet to net at Turf Moor. Whether he can do so is dependent on Mesut Ozil coming up with the goods. The German has created more goalscoring chances from open play this season than any other player (30).
