Chelsea vs Arsenal (17/9/2017)
You might remember that Chelsea went on a winning spurt after losing meekly to Arsenal at this stage last season. The Blues went on to win the title that season after a drastic change to a back three with flying wing-backs. Arsenal will hope to have that similar spark-plug effect when they visit Stamford Bridge, some place they don’t like to visit with five straight defeats there. If they concede again, it will match their longest run of away matches (13) without a clean sheet against a single EPL opponent. Fortunately, apart from late fitness checks on midfielders Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, the Gunners are at full strength. As for the Blues, they are without deadline transfer signing Danny Drinkwater. Gary Cahill, though, is available after serving his ban for that opening week red card against Burnley.
