Chelsea vs Everton 27/8/2017

August 26, 2017 8:58 pm

Champions Chelsea recovered from their opening day stumble to win 2-1 at Tottenham’s Wembley Stadium. Now, they will be determined to give their home fans something to cheer as they host Everton. Another defeat, adding on to the Burnley loss on opening day, will mark a first back-to-back home EPL defeats in almost six years! They are unbeaten in 22 EPL home matches against Everton since a 0-1 defeat in November 1994. The man to watch has to be the resurgent Wayne Rooney. The 32-year-old, who scored a landmark 200th EPL goal on Monday, is looking to score in three consecutive EPL matches for the first time since January 2016.
