Dortmund vs RB Leipzig 15/10/2017
Football purists are in for a treat as two of Bundesliga’s finest attacking teams collide at Westfalenstadion. Thanks to new coach Peter Bosz’s highly attacking 4-3-3 formation, Dortmund are enjoying their best ever start with an impressive total of 19 points from seven games and an astonishing goal difference of +19.
Dortmund have scored 13 goals in three of their home outings this term, and remain unbeaten at Westfalenstadion in 41 league games. Last season’s runners-up RB Leipzig have steadied themselves with back-to-back wins over Eintracht Frankfurt and Cologne.
A win here for Leipzig will see them move within three points of Dortmund. They will have to get their defence on full alert though, having just kept a single clean sheet this term, shipping eight goals in seven games.
Naby Keita returns for Leipzig after serving a three-match ban, but there is major concern over striker Tim Werner, who has missed the last three outings for club and country with a neck injury. Meanwhile Dortmund are without full-back Lukasz Piszczek, who picked up a knee injury while playing for Poland.
