The relegation-threatened hosts have ensured back-to-back Serie A wins in the build-up to this meeting, but they still have a long way to go before securing the top-flight status for another season. Frosinone’s tally of five wins after 31 league fixtures is the league’s second lowest, but interestingly, just one of those victories have come in front of their home supporters. The joint-weakest hosts in Serie A (W1, D5, L9), the Canaries have collected just eight of a total of 23 league points at home (34.78%) while scoring only 12 goals in the process – league’s joint-lowest. Meanwhile, the visitors seem to be on their way of securing the Champions League promotion for the second consecutive year, as they sit third with a five-point lead over fifth-placed Atalanta, with seven SA fixtures left to go. Two of Inter’s last three league wins have arrived away from home with the Nerazzurri scoring 3+ match goals in each. Also, all four of Inter’s previous SA road clashes have featured over 2.5 goals, with three of them producing 4+ match goals. Interestingly, four of the Nerazzurri’s last six SA away wins have seen them beating their rivals by a narrow 1-goal margin, with three of them ending with the identical 1-0 scoreline in Inter’s favor.
