Juventus vs Inter Milan 10/12/2017
The Derby D’Italia is Italy’s fiercest football derby, and it is a high-stakes encounter this Saturday as both teams are challenging for the title. Inter Milan are still the only unbeaten team in the league, and lead Juventus by two points.
Inter are also top of the league and will need to leave Turin with something should they fancy staying there for another week. Their last win at Juventus was in 2012, a 3-1 win.
While Juventus had to go through 90 minutes of intense football in midweek, a 2-0 win against Olympiakos, Inter have a full week to prepare.
Inter are at full strength, but Juve will be without Mario Mandzukic, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Benedikt Howedes and Marko Pjaca. Captain Gianluigi Buffon will also miss out, leaving his deputy Wojciech Szczesny to deal with the league’s red-hot striker, Mauro Icardi. The Inter Milan hotshot has 16 league goals in 15 league games so far and has chalked up seven career goals against Juventus.
