AC Milan have made a great start with two wins out of two, but there’s still this uneasy feeling that they need a tougher set of opponents. This has come in the form of Lazio. Victory at the Stadio Olimpico will mark the first time since 2006/07 that Milan have won their first three league games of the season. Both teams are almost inseparable in the recent head-to-heads, with each team winning four times. There were also four draws in that stretch. Prior to the international break, Lazio were headed for their second straight draw until Sergej Milinkovic-Savic intervened. The Serbian netted a last-gasp winner for Lazio at Chievo for a 2-1 victory, the team’s first there since 2014.
