Leicester City will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the King Power Stadium following a 1-1 draw with Fulham in midweek that saw Claude Puel’s men wholly outplayed by the returnees.
Although they are unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches, the Foxes have secured just two wins in the process as they currently sit ninth in the table. Leicester’s main concern ahead of this meeting relates to their uninspiring performance in the final third, which has seen them managing an average of 1.43 goals scored per match in front of the local supporters. Having kept a clean sheet five times in nine competitive games this season, the Foxes have lost both matches in which they conceded more than one goal.
On the other hand, the visitors come into this encounter after a routine 3-1 home win over the struggling Southampton side, which has seen them bouncing back from a disastrous 4-2 loss to Arsenal in the London derby last weekend. Having racked up seven wins on the road in the Premier League so far, the Spurs have recorded more triumphs away from home than any other side in the English top tier. What’s more, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have scored at least one goal in each of their nine road clashes ahead of this round, bagging a minimum of two goals six times in the process.
