Manchester City vs Bournemouth 23/12/2017

Manchester City - Bournemouth
December 23, 2017 10:49 am

Man City’s relentless title push will see them attempt to create another milestone. They are three strikes away from becoming the first team to score 100 EPL goals within a calendar year.
And it’s looking good as the Citizens have won nine and drawn two of their previous 11 league matchups against Bournemouth. The Cherries simply don’t quite perform in this part of England, having never won a match here against either City or United in 11 previous attempts.
Raheem Sterling, enjoying a standout season so far, has scored in all four of his EPL turnouts against Bournemouth, including a last-minute winner in the first fixture back in September.
Man City will be without a trio of defenders – that’s Eliaquim Mangala, John Stones and captain Vincent Kompany. Benjamin Mendy is a long-term absentee.
At the other camp, Jermain Defoe and Harry Arter joined the injury list after Wednesday’s heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Carabao League Cup.
The duo join several players, including Joshua King, Charlie Daniels and Tyrone Mings on the sidelines.
