Real Madrid have completely outplayed Juventus at the Allianz Stadium and deservedly won by three goals to nil, and the Old Lady will need a miracle at Santiago Bernabeu to advance to the semi-finals. Apart from Cristiano Ronaldo’s out-of-this-world bicycle-kick, Los Blancos have been dominating the game from the first minute to the final whistle tormenting Juventus defense over and over again through the likes of Isco, Modric, and Kroos. Los Merengues had a tough match last weekend, as they faced Atletico Madrid at home, but despite the encounter ended 1-1, Zinedine Zidane’s side looked superior often trying to impose their rhythm, while the Black and Whites secured another ‘easy’ victory in Serie A by beating the bottom team in the league, Benevento, by four goals to two. Although the Italian giants have an impressive record this season, both in the national championship and Europe, their game doesn’t look as convincing as last year, which was quite obvious last midweek in Turin when they struggled to keep up the pace with Real Madrid’s devastating display.

Zidane is facing a hard decision regarding his backline, as Nacho Fernández and Jesús Vallejo are out because of injuries, while Sergio Ramos won’t be available due to suspension. Federico Bernardeschi is yet to recover from a knee injury, but Massimiliano Allegri’s principal concern will be the absence of Paulo Dybala, who picked up a red card in the first leg.
