Sampdoria’s promising seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions (W5, D2) was brought to an end on the eve of the New Year break, as they’ve suffered a 2-1 loss to Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. However, the Blucerchiati have racked up a four-game home winning run, scoring over 1.5 goals per match in each victory, while keeping a clean sheet twice during that period. Unlike Milan, Marco Giampaolo’s players have been impressive in the final third lately, scoring over 1.5 goals per match six times in a row before their trip to Turin.
