Seongnam FC and Busan IPark go head-to-head at the Tancheon Stadium for a potentially low-scoring K League 1 affair. All seven of their previous competitive H2H clashes have featured under 2.5 goals.
Despite losing just once in their last five league outings (W2, D2), a lack of firepower up front saw the hosts score under 1.5 goals on three of those occasions. Indeed, three of their previous four top-flight fixtures have produced under 2.5 goals, with two featuring under 1.5 goals. However, the ‘Magpies’ remain one of two sides yet to pull off a home win this term (D2, L5), and a poor attacking output is pretty much accountable. Indeed, no team has scored fewer home goals in K League 1 than Seongnam (2) this season, with both of those goals arriving either 15 minutes before or after halftime.
Meanwhile, the visitors take the field after suffering three consecutive league defeats, all of which saw them concede over 1.5 goals and draw a blank in the first half. Also, none of their previous five top-flight trips has ended in a draw (W2, L3), with four of those five results (wins/losses) yielding a full-time margin of at least two goals and seeing the winning side net over 1.5 goals in one half. Notably, all three of Busan’s previous trips to Seongnam have resulted in a 1-0 loss. In turn, all of their four away K League 1 defeats this term produced a margin of over 1.5 goals at a full-time, and three were ‘to nil.’
