Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City 15/04/18
Three consecutive defeats, two in the Champions League to Liverpool, and one in the Premier League to the city rivals Manchester United have confirmed Manchester City have slowed down their game over the last couple of weeks, and after the Champions League elimination, they are going to face in-form Tottenham Hotspur side at the Wembley Stadium, hoping for a victory that will see them as new Premier League champions. The Spurs have played their last three EPL games away from home, and they’ve managed to win all of them, including a convincing 3-1 victory over Chelsea that virtually secured them a place among Europe’s top flight for the next season. Two sides faced each other back in December at the Etihad Stadium with the Citizens demolishing Mauricio Pochettino’s team by four goals to one, especially considering the fact Tottenham haven’t lost a single game at home in the Premier League since last August’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.
Harry Winks is the only injured player in the home squad, while Benjamin Mendy won’t be available for the visitors. However, both managers could be happy to see their star forwards, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero, back to full fitness after some injury issues.
