Turkey vs Iceland 7/10/2017
Turkey host Iceland in a crucial Group I clash, which could well decide who gains automatic qualification and a playoff spot. For the Turks, who trail co-leaders Croatia and Iceland by two points, it is an absolute must-win game. They will have to enter the match without creative playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu though. Emre Mor will need to step up.
Meantime, Iceland have a healthy problem in choosing who to start upfront between Alfred Finnbogason and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson. Finnbogason, though, might get the nod after a sensational start with four goals from seven matches for Augsburg in the German Bundesliga.
A win will see Turkey jump Iceland into second place, the playoff spot. Anything less than that, and they can watch the World Cup from their sofa.
