Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Romania

Bosnia & Herzegovina and Romania are set to face each other at the Bilino Polje in an intriguing UEFA Nations League Group 3 encounter.

Bosnia & Herzegovina hit back late to hold Finland to a 1-1 away draw in their opening Group 3 fixture. After suffering relegation from League A in the last edition, they’ve extended their winless Nations League form to seven games (D3, L4). Romania’s visit to Zenica doesn’t bode well for Bosnia’s hopes of bouncing back – they have lost three of their four previous H2Hs (W1). On the bright side, the ‘Dragons,’ who now return home, will aim to preserve a perfect home record in Nations League League B home matches. They have won both previous such match-ups without conceding. But the Bosnians are winless in their last eight competitive home outings (D3, L5).

In the meantime, Romania experienced a false start to their Group 3 journey, falling to an underwhelming 2-0 defeat away to Montenegro on Matchday 1. With their winless streak now standing at three games (D1, L2), the Romanians will be out to improve their lacklustre defending. The ‘Tricolours’ have conceded precisely twice in their last two international outings, with those four goals all coming in the second half and three beyond the hour-mark. Topically, Romania have conceded exactly two goals in three of their last four internationals on foreign soil (W1, D1, L2), highlighting the potential for another leaky trip.
