Fiorentina and Inter Milan are set to trade tackles at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in arguably the most exciting Serie A match-up this weekend.

Adding to this sentiment, visiting Inter Milan have enjoyed a noticeable upturn in form in the run-up to this encounter, going from back-to-back Serie A defeats to winning their last two league matches on the bounce. Edin Dzeko scored on either side of halftime to hand ‘I Nerazzurri’ a 2-1 win at Sassuolo on their most recent top-flight travel and arrest Inter’s sub-par run of three successive away league defeats. But yet to keep a clean sheet on hostile turf in Serie A this season, Simone Inzaghi’s men are unlikely to have a stroll in Florence, especially considering their last nine away league fixtures have featured over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring. However, a victory would see Inter reach a historic feat as they could beat Fiorentina in three consecutive away Serie A H2Hs for the second time in club history.
