Jeju United vs Seoul

Jeju World Cup Stadium is the venue as Jeju United and Seoul go head-to-head in a handsomely-looking K League 1 encounter.

Jeju United have experienced a drastic dip in form in the build-up to this fixture, going from two successive K League 1 victories to back-to-back defeats. However, they are unbeaten in their last three home league outings (W2, D1), with both triumphs coming by 2+ goals ‘to one.’ Another successful weekend could be on the cards, as the ‘Mountaineers’ have not lost any of their last six top-flight H2Hs as hosts (W4, D2), including wins in four of the most recent five. Yet, much will depend on Jeju’s ability to get on the scoresheet first. Nam Ki-il’s men have lost both home league matches in which they fell behind this term.

On the other hand, Seoul head into proceedings off the back of an overwhelming 3-0 win over lower-league opposition Busan Transportation in the Korean Cup. However, things are not going the visitors’ way in K League 1 these days. They have only won one of their last five top-flight games (D2, L2), scoring under 1.5 goals four times in the process. Yet, after seven winless league matches on the road (D4, L3), Seoul came out victorious at Suwon Bluewings on their most recent travel (1-0). Another potential success here would see them win two away league fixtures in succession for the first time this season.
