Levante vs. Osasuna 13/02/21

Estadi Ciutat de València is the venue, as Levante take on Osasuna in a hard-to-predict La Liga fixture.

Ahead of the kick-off, all of Levante’s last seven La Liga matches have seen over 2.5 goals and both teams on the scoresheet (W3, D3, L1), with each draw in that five-game sequence yielding the identical 2-2 scoreline. Additionally, both sides have scored before half-time in three of their last four league fixtures, with Levante conceding the opening goal each time. At home, the ‘Granotas’ have not lost any of their nine La Liga games (W4, D5) since succumbing to a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in their first home match of the season, with both teams finding the net on eight occasions in that run. Against this backdrop, three of their last four La Liga meetings with Osasuna at home have featured the identical 2-0 scoreline (W1, D1, L2).

In the meantime, the visitors have alternated between a win and a loss in three La Liga games (W2, L1) since drawing 1-1 at Valencia on Matchday 19, with the deciding goal in their last two league matches continually coming beyond the 75th minute. However, after beating newly-promoted Cadiz 2-0 in their first La Liga trip of the season, ‘Los Rojillos’ have failed to win any of their subsequent ten away league fixtures (D4, L6), drawing a blank in two of the last three such contests. In order to snap that disappointing run, Osasuna will have to defy their recent La Liga H2H record against Levante (W1, D1, L3). Easier said than done, though, as Jagoba Arrasate’s men have netted a league joint-low eight away goals this top-flight campaign.
